Utility Reporting Capabilities
Advantage IQ, through our patented Facility IQ™ system, gives you access to powerful reporting tools, available 24/7 online. As part of our standard service offering, your accounting department can access and download the appropriate reports to accurately account for each expense. Additionally, facility management personnel can now tap the data for proactive, strategic decision-making. An overview of key reports available as part of our standard service include:
Financial Reporting
- General ledger (GL) reconciliation. At the time of consolidation, we create an electronic GL file that can be imported into your accounting system. We offer a variety of standard GL file formats designed to meet your system requirements.
- Cost estimator. Similar to an accrual-type report, we provide a standard electronic cost estimating report designed to work with your internal accounting system.
- Bill finder. Individual bill images are easily located and viewed via the Facility IQ System.
Operational Reporting
- Company/Site information. Detailed site data is readily available for easy reference when troubleshooting cost and consumption anomalies. Information found in this report will typically include site address, site number, name, square footage, site type, region, and district.
- Vendor information. Relevant vendor information for each site is displayed for quick reference and editing. Typical information includes the utility used by each site, account numbers, meter numbers, tariff codes, and contact names.
- Consolidated billing information. All information regarding bills that are to be paid or that have been paid resides here. You can drill down to the specific line items for each vendor and see an image of your actual bill.
- Resource accounting. This is where all the cost and consumption information is reported. Find out how much usage occurred at a particular site or grouping of sites, at a particular time. A variety of graphical and tabular report formats are available.
- Ad Hoc reporting. The Ad Hoc data tool allows you to "mine" the facility information thoroughly, from several different perspectives. You can choose from a variety of fields, and specify ranges from the criteria for more detailed evaluation of your data. Each custom-selected data set is then saved in a text file that can be imported into any number of standard programs for further analysis. Ad Hoc reporting gives you the ability to view line by line details of your billing information. For utilities, for instance, this might include cost, demand, kVar, and use per square foot.
- Specialty reports. Specialty reports are specifically designed for detailed analysis of resource or service costs and usage. For example, the Energy Index Report gives you the ability to identify those sites that are the energy efficiency “stars and laggards.” Quick links to the detailed site cost and consumption figures make this one of the most powerful and valuable reporting tools within the Facility IQ System.
