Available Shifts
Because our clients are located across North America, we operate over extended hours. Work shifts begin anywhere from 5 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and end anywhere from 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Each employee’s shift is determined at the time of hire, and is generally identified on the advertisement for employment. Limited part-time shifts are also available. Day shift employees work from Monday through Friday, and our swing shift works Sunday through Thursday.
Required Skills
The nature of our work requires strong computer and keyboarding skills. Our Data Entry Operators must meet a minimum of 9,000 keystrokes per hour, and daily metrics are collected to assure production goals are met. Billing Specialists must have the ability to evaluate current bill data against prior bill data and resolve billing issues. Our Billing Analysts must possess strong analytical skills, in order to identify savings opportunities for our clients. Both Billing Specialists and Analysts are held to performance expectations, and metrics are collected for these positions as well, to insure daily production goals are met. To prepare new employees to meet these standards, we offer a three-week, introductory training program, followed by additional training as needed.
Office Environment
Our offices utilize the entire fifth floor, as well as space on the 4th floor, of the Rockpointe East Building. Our environment was planned to be both visually pleasing and well organized. And, because our employees spend the major portion of their shift at a computer, each workspace has been designed to offer comfort and efficiency, while maximizing space as effectively as possible.
High Standards
Employees of Advantage IQ are held to high standards, in terms of work ethic, as well as to their appearance and behavior. Our clients rely on us to manage thousands of their accounts and bills, and we expect that our employees take that responsibility seriously. We hire people who are honest, reliable, and professional. That means that we trust our employees to arrive at work on time, work their scheduled shift, and minimize unscheduled time away from work. We also have a dress code, which is meant to promote our culture’s appreciation for professionalism, while allowing for individual creativity and style. We ask that our employees dress appropriately for an office environment, which means “business casual”. The dress code does allow for jeans on Fridays and special occasions, provided clients are not visiting our offices on those days.
Our Hiring Process
In terms of our hiring process, there are several steps to complete. First, an applicant must complete an Advantage IQ Application for Employment. We only accept applications for open positions, so if we do not currently have any open, please do check back. This form supplies all the information needed in order to assess an applicant’s fit with the position for which they are applying. The application will be evaluated according to the requirements of the position applied for. Once an applicant is deemed qualified for the position, they will be called for an interview. If they are selected to fill a position, they must submit to a pre-employment drug test, and a background check will be completed. At the same time, we will contact references listed on the employment application. These steps must be completed prior to a final offer of employment. In addition, certain positions may require pre-employment skills testing.
